पवित्र इस दिन पर तीन पत्ती
खैलना तौहीन है इस त्योहार की
तथा शराब पीना धुम्रपान करना
ईश्वर को निराश करना होगा तो
ऐसा पाप करने बचो तुम।

खुद को ही कागज में लिख जाऊं मैं,,,
आईने में देखती हूं रोज जिसे ,,,
उसी की आंखें पढ जाऊं मैं,,
होने लगा मुझे प्यार फिर से ,,,
किसी और से नहीं बल्कि खुद से,,
अपनी ही तारीफों के किस्से गढ़ जाऊं मैं,,
जिंदगी जीती रही,,
जी हजूरी में अब तक,,
क्यों ना अपने ही नाम से ,,
अब आगे बढ़ जाऊं मैं ,,
लगा के चश्मा बेफिक्री का,,
बदलते मौसम के रंग में रंग जाऊं मैं,,
सुख दुख मुझे लगने लगे एक जैसे ,,
कोई फर्क ना उनमें कर पाऊं मैं,,
जीवन है यह मेरा ,,किसी की खैरात नहीं,,
अपने ही ढंग में ,,,बस ढल जाऊं मैं,,।।
