Greed

लालच नहीं जरूरी है ,
फिर भी इंसान की कमजोरी है ,
कहता है वो ना ना ,
फिर भी अंतिम में हो जाती है हाँ हाँ ।

जब तक लालच होता है ,
तब तक मनुष्य का दिमागी संतुलन ठीक नहीं होता है ,
एक चीज के पा लेने पर भी ,
दूसरे चीज की लालसा आ जाती है मन में ।

एक लालच वो है ,
जो उसके पास है वो मुझे भी चाहिए,
या फिर उससे भी अच्छा चाहिए ,
इससे हो जाती है स्वयं को हानि ।

लालच से कभी संतुष्ट नहीं हो पाता है मन,
गिरे रहते है उसमें हरदम,
कब कैसे मैं उसे पा लूँ,
यही धुन रहती है हर दम ।

A big , wide mouthed monster
Is the other name of greed
The more you feed it
The more it breeds.
If not checked on time
It becomes almost
Like a disease.
Greed has neither any periphery
Nor any boundary
It is just so addictive
Never leaves anyone in quandary.
Greed for money
Greed for power
Greed for property
Greed for fame
And to achieve
Any of these
Greed has no shame.
Its a poisonous vice
Leading to dangerous crimes
Contentment is the only solution
Nothing else can control greed”s enzyme .

शरीर किराए का घर है
आत्मा कुछ दिनों की मेहमान हैं
फिर भी हम पाल रहे दिलों में अरमान है
इच्छाओं की मेहमाननवाज़ी कर रहे हैं
लालच, नफ़रत, घृणा, जलन, प्यार पाल रहे हैं
किराए के इस घर को खूब संवार रहे हैं
इस चेतना की आवाज़ को पल-पल नाकार रहे हैं
जो कर्म साथ जाने हैं उन्हें धिक्कार रहे हैं
सांसारिक लालच को क्या खूब पाल रहे हैं।

Greed

In shadows deep, where avarice lies,
Greed whispers softly, in deceitful guise.
Fortunes sought, a relentless quest,
Binding hearts, in a covetous jest.

Gold’s allure, a siren’s call,
Into the abyss, where empires fall.
Counting coins, but losing grace,
Greed’s embrace, a cold, relentless chase.

Eyes ablaze with desires untamed,
In pursuit of wealth, the soul is maimed.
A ceaseless hunger, an insatiable flame,
Greed’s cruel dance, a perilous game.

Yet, in the quiet, a truth revealed,
Greed’s illusion, in shadows concealed.
For richness true, lies not in gold,
But in shared warmth, and stories told.

बहुत ख़ूब सूरत है ये लालच
जो कभी मिटती नहीं
मिटा देती है
अच्छे अच्छे लोगों को ,
ख़ुद जलती नहीं
जला देती है
कितनो के ही अरमानों को।
भूल जाता है
वर्चस्व की होड़ में
ख़ाली हाथ ही आए थे
