बीते हुए कल की धरोहर,
आने वाले युग की नीव है बुजुर्ग।

Echoes of time

Aged hands, soft and worn,
With stories in every line,
Eyes that have seen the dawn
In the host of darkness there is a shine

Wrinkles, maps of a life,
Etched by laughter and tears,
Echoes of joy and strife,
Through the passage of years.

Timid, but with purpose.
Time has planted wisdom
A heart beat into the love surplus
In the life they are a kingdom

Gentle souls, quietly strong,
And an unbreakable patience,
Singing an age-old song,
Dreams, that alike dreams and ambitions.

Elderly spirits, aglow,
At twilight in the fading light
Their loving we lavish on them so slow,
Sun to lightly meet the moon at night.
