Fantasy

She was atleast 10 years younger to me,
She was considered very naughty.

Got excited to meet her on my fantasy date,
Got dressed up in my best dress till date.

Traveled 20 kilometers on my Activa,
Just to show off my chutzpah.

Carried the choicest food she would love,
Can’t believe that she shouted ” Bow, wow”

She was resting in an air-conditioned room,
Like the bride waiting for her groom.

I caressed, cajoled, hugged and kissed her.
She was my dear puppy, golden retriever.

कल्पना

कल्पना से काल्पनिक

कल्पना ये थी कि तुम्हें उस चाँद से रोशन झरोके में सजा कर रखता मासूम जो तुम थी,
परियों की तुम शहजादी जो थी,
तुम्हारी मुस्कुराहट जो मेरे दिल की धड़कन जो थी,
रोज़ आता हूँ इधर तुम्हारी नज़्म जो मेरी जन्नत जो थी,
पढ़ कर चला जाता हूं खाली हाथ अब लगे जो मेरी नसीब में जो मेरी ही लिखी वो मोहब्बत जो थी,
एक शक किसी तीसरे की किस्मत मेरी जो सहमती जो थी,
क्योंकि तुम किसी और की ना हो जाओ;इसलिये माथे की बिंदिया जो मेरी थी,
अब मैंने तय कर लिया है कि तुम्हें मिटाऊंगा जिसकी कल्पना तुम्हें कभी ना थी,
ये जो तुम्हारी मेहर जो आखिरी मुझे तुम्हें देने थी..

एक शाश्वत प्रेम कहानी के सच्चे वृत्तांत पर आधारित, जहां लड़के ने यह सुनिश्चित किया कि वह लड़की के भविष्य को नष्ट करने और उसे निशाना बनाने के लिए उसे बदनाम करे ताकि कल्पना से भी परे उसे दुखी देखकर उसे खुशी मिले,लेकिन वह लड़की उससे इतना प्यार करती थी कि उसने हमेशा के लिए चुप रहना पसंद किया…

FANTASY
If given the choice, I’d choose to stay,
In my world where dreams hold sway.
Where pain is gone, and joy prevails,
And every heart in peace exhales.
A world where hunger’s never known,
Where sickness reaps no seeds are sown.
Where wealth’s pursuit is left behind,
And children aren’t by screens confined.
Where old parents are loved and revered,
And every door remains unbarred,
Where neighbours are like family dear,
And friends bring warmth and cheer.
A place where violence finds no home,
And corruption’s just an empty tome.
Where women’s rights are held up high,
And feticide has said goodbye.
I don’t ask for sweets on every tree,
Or rivers flowing endlessly.
I dream of a world where love sustains,
And where true happiness reigns.
Oh, tell me where this land might be,
This world of dreams, so pure, so free?
