Fortune/किस्मत

Whispers of Fortune

Fortune drifts like a wisp of flame,
A silent guest, with no true name.
She dances light on dreamers’ brows,
Yet never signs eternal vows.

She knocks on doors both rich and poor,
Then fades like mist beyond the shore.
To chase her is a fickle game—
One day a king, the next, a name.

She wears a robe of chance and change,
Her paths are wide, her ways are strange.
She’ll crown with gold a gambler’s hand,
Then wash it clean like ocean sand.

But still we court her silver smile,
And walk with hope each winding mile.
For though she comes and often goes,
She seeds the heart with burning throes.

So lift your gaze, but plant your feet,
Let fortune come as fate deems sweet.
For those who walk with purpose true,
Find fortune shapes herself to you.

किस्मत

भला क्या ही होगा किस्मत का अर्थ,
किसी को सुख की वजह न मिली होगी,
किसी को दुःख की वजह न मिली होगी,
दोनों ने मिलकर एक शब्द बनाया होगा,
जिसे वो वजह बनकर वो शांति पा सके,
किसी को जीवन का अर्थ नहीं मिला होगा,
किसी को मृत्य का तर्क नहीं मिला होगा,
दोनों ने मिलकर एक शब्द बनाया होगा,
जिसे वो जीवन मृत्यु की वजह बता सके,
भला क्या ही होगा किस्मत का अर्थ,
किसी राजा के दरबार में व्यक्ति खड़ा होगा,
राजा की प्रसन्नता की वजह से दंड उसे ना मिला होगा,
उसके साथी भी दूसरे दिन दरबार में मिला होगी,
वहीं कार्य लेकिन राजा के दुःख की वजह से दंड उसे मिला होगा,
लोगों ने मिलकर एक शब्द नया बनाया होगा,
जिससे वो इस घटना की वजह बता सके,
भला क्या ही होगा किस्मत का अर्थ,
किसी को अनायास ही धनलाभ हुआ होगा,
मेहनत का नामोनिशान न होगा,
किसी को अनायास ही लूटा गया होगा,
कुछ भी वो न कर पाया होगा,
दोनों ने मिलकर एक नया शब्द बनाया होगा,
जिसे वो इसकी वजह ठहरा सके,
भला क्या ही होगा किस्मत का अर्थ।
