मांझे संग लिपटी थी पतंग
होश नही था कट जाने का
इश्क खुले आसमान में
बेपरवाह उड़ती जा रहे थे एकदुसरे संग
काटा जो किसीने लापरवाही से इनको
बिखर गये इन हवाओं में दोनों
जुदा होता देख रहे थे एकदुसरे को
पर जीत ना पाए किस्मत से दोनों..!

Makara Sankranti
This festival is known by different names
In different places
Pongal, Bi, hu, and Katya
A festival of harvesting
It reminds me of the end of the winter season
In the morning we wake up early
And after worshipping we eat tilted
In the breakfast, we eat Dahi Chura and Chokha
In the afternoon, we fly kites so high
As high as our dreams
We should learn a lot from this kite
As it drops down, but again with new hope
We fly eat
As it is also known by Khichadi
So we eat khichadi
In the evening it’s time to celebrate
And eat delicious food
Puri, Pooa, Sabji, and many more items
It is celebrated everywhere differently
From today the day gets longer and night becomes shorter
As the sun shifts from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere

Makar sankranti

On this day the sun enters into Capricorn i.e.,makara rasi
According to solar calendar there will be equal duration of day and night

On this occasion of makar Sankranti everyone worship lord sun (Surya bhagvan) Lord sun gives us good health so everyone express their gratitude towards Lord sun (Surya bhagvan)by worshipping him bcz we know that health is wealth

On this occasion a colourful rangoli is placed in the door way
A lump of cow dung worshipped as a goddess on this occasion they are placed in the middle of the rangoli
The young unmarried girls gather together folk songs are sung and danced around the lump of cow dung it is believed that they get good husband in their life

On this day we offer sesame and jaggery to others and wish them to speak sweet words
I feel keep this sweetness life time with everyone

Kite flying is very special on this occasion
We get good msg form the kite
Everyone is happy to see a kite flying high in the sky but no one sees the string ( thread) that makes it fly
In the same way everyone recognises us when we are at a high level but no one recognise our efforts to reach that high level.

मकरसंक्रांति
ये ऐसा त्यौहार है,
जब सब एक साथ होते है!
ये त्यौहार है बहुत अजीब ,
जो सिखाए रहो ऐसे,
जैसे संग पतंग और डोर!
इसका एक रूप निराला,
जब देखते है सबको एकसाथ!
सुबह से लेके शाम तक,
साथ में उड़ाते है पतंग!
खाते हैं तिल के लड्ड,
साथ में गन्ने की वो चूसन!
एक बहुत सुंदर रचना,
भगवान भास्कर का निराला रूप!
वो भी नई ऊर्जा से भरे होते हैं,
सब एक साथ उनको देखते है!
वो ऐसे की जैसे सुबह से ही,
सब जो छत पर आ जाते है!
शाम का तो नजारा ही हसीन होता है,
एक तरफ सूरज का ढलना,
दूसरी तरफ दिवाली के पटाको ,
का जलना और हमारी,
पूरी थकान का उड़न छू हो जाना !

मकर संक्रांति

मांझा को गुमान है
अपने ताकत पर,
किन्तु पतंग मुस्कुराती है
अपने हालत पर,
किसका वजूद कितना !
इसका हिसाब होगा बगावत पर,
मेरा क्या! मेरा तो परिचय अकेले ही काफी है ;
पोंगल के कहावत का ,
तुम फिक्र अपनी करो ,
क्योंकि तुम मांझा ही नहीं बल्कि ,
धागा भी हों हर इक दरवाजे का।।
