patience is a substance of time
to make a virtue out of waiting
patience is like the taste of lime
patience is the rule of turn-taking
Patience understands seasons
that there’s time for everything
And at the right time
life will balance up
Patience knows that no situation is permanent
patience is not quick to judge
Nobody knows it all
Patience doesn’t miss details
It delivers as and when due
patience is the root of a long life

अच्छा सुनो तुम् बस धैर्य रखो
जो बित गया उससे जाने दो
जो है उससे अपना वक्त दो।
जो होगा तम्हारे नसीब मे वो
कहा तुझसे दूर होगा,
देर सहि ,ज़रूर तेरा होगा।
माना वक्त लगता है कुछ हसीन चीज़ पाने मे
कइ बार सब गवाना परता है किसी एक को पाने मे

धैर्य और मेहनत करने वाले
भगवान भी होते उनके रखवाले
धैर्य है जीवन का वह आधार
इससे सपने होते हैं साकार
जीवन में जिसने धैर्य न रखा

जिसने धैर्य को रखा ना बरकरार
असफलता का बनता यह आधार
धैर्य होती है एक आशा की किरण

खुशी सोनी
सब्र में तुमको कई बार खो चुका हूं,

तब्दीली-ए-सूरत
क़ामयाबी फ़क्त इक लम्हा है, गर्दिशों ने है संवारा मुझे
मशक्कतें जो लगीं ज़ाया, अब हाथ में लिए मुकद्दर हूँ
मयस्सर नहीं था साहिल, मिला है लहरों में किनारा मुझे
आया था बनकर एक कतरा, इस मर्तबा समंदर हूँ
ता-उम्र देखने मिला है, मैदान-ए-जंग का नज़ारा मुझे
मामूली-सा शहसवार था, हाल ये है कि सिकंदर हूँ
ज़रा दीदार कर लें अपना, मिला है रूह का इशारा मुझे
कभी खुदकी भी खबर न थी, आज साथ लिए लश्कर हूँ

सब्र…
हमने तो इसको भी सब्र जाना ।
धूप थी हर सु और अब्र जानां ।।
ला उबाली सी रहती है तबियत में।
उम्र ए नादाँ से नही होता सब्र जानां।।
कब्र ही है जब आखरी मंजिल ।
हमने इस कर्ब को भी सब्र जानां।।
अब निगाहे करम जो कीजे तो क्या।
जिंदगी को आ गया सब्र जानां ।।
ला शऊरी थी तो मस्त थी बहुत ।
शऊरे जीस्त ने इसको जब्र जानां ।।
कब गुज़रती है सहल राते अब ।
हिज्र में होता नही सब्र जानां।।

तुमसे गर राब्ता नहीं होता ।
रास्ता- रास्ता नहीं होता ।
मंजिलों को तलाशते लेकिन,
मंजिलों का पता नहीं होता ।
तुम नहीं हो अगर नहीं है कुछ,
तुम जो होते तो क्या नहीं होता ।
होके बरबाद शाद रहते हैं ,
बस मज़ा ही मज़ा नहीं होता ।
प्यार है इंतज़ार सदियों का,
सब्र तुमको ज़रा नहीं होता ।
प्यार है सब में खुद को पा जाना,
प्यार में दूसरा नहीं होता ।
