In echoes of time, traditions flow,
A symphony of customs, a tale to sow.
From ancient realms to modern days,
They guide our steps in infinite ways.

A tapestry woven with threads of old,
Customs observed, like seeds in soil.
They bind us close to our roots and bend,
To the dance of tradition, we gracefully lend.

In crimson hues of harvest’s delight,
We gather to feast from morning till night.
A table adorned with flavors untold,
Legacies whispered in recipes old.

The dance of the bride in silk attire,
Veiled in customs of love’s desire.
A union cherished, blessings bestowed,
The handfasting of hearts forever glowed.

The scent of incense, a prayer’s embrace,
The devout seekers seek solace and grace.
From temples to shrines, the rituals bloom,
Nurturing spirits amid life’s gloom.

Yet traditions evolve, like seasons turn,
We blend the past with lessons learned.
For beauty lies in honoring the old,
With open minds and hearts, we mold.

So let us embrace these customs dear,
In reverence and respect, we hold them near.
For in the framework of tradition’s art,
We find strength and unity, never to depart.

Great tradition and culture….

Indian a country where it’s a tradition to treat guests like god. In india children learn values and ethics from their homes elders teach their children about moral values and how to treat others. Basically our tradition is ethical, the great culture of our country is that younger generation is still connected to the older generation which is now rare. We celebrate diwali Holi, Eid, Guruparb, chhathh even christmas together in the same country only because of our great culture and tradition.

परंपरा और रीति रिवाज ……

यूं तो हमारे भारत में हजारों लाखों परंपराएं और रीति रिवाज है । भारत के हर शहर की अपनी एक परंपरा और अपना एक रिवाज है । यही कारण है कि भारत बहुत ही सुंदर और अलग देश है।
बरसों से चले आ रहे इन परंपराओं और रीति-रिवाज को समझना आज के पीढ़ी के लिए थोड़ा मुश्किल है । ऐसा नहीं है कि यह सभी परंपराएं गलत है पर समय के साथ कुछ चीजे बदलना भी जरूरी होता है।
इन अलग-अलग परंपराओं और रिवाज से हर त्यौहार का अपना अलग ही अंदाज होता है। हर परंपरा और रिवाज के अपने मायने होते हैं पर यह परंपराएं , यह रिवाज , तभी तक अच्छे लगते हैं जब तक इनकी वजह से किसी को नुकसान न पहुंचे।
परंपरा और रीति रिवाज बोझ तब बनते हैं जब उनके नाम पर औरों को तकलीफ पहुंचाई जाती है। जिसके वजह से लोग परंपराओं को दोष देना शुरू करते थे ।
मेरे हिसाब से कोई भी परंपरा और रीति रिवाज बुरे नहीं है पर जब तक इनके सही मायने और महत्व समझ नहीं आते तब तक यह सब हमारे लिए बोझ ही होते हैं !!!

Chhole batture
East India- Fish Curry
West India- Vada Pav
Even we talk about dresses too
India uses a unique custom for greeting people 🙏
We have different dances from different states
Bharatnatyam – Tamil Nadu
Mohiniyattam -Kerala
Different festivals from different states
Onam- Kerala
Chhath – Bihar
Durga Puja – Calcutta
