My Favourite sunday ritual
My Favourite sunday ritual
My favourite Sunday ritual is spending more time with my husband than ordinary every day.
My cherished Sunday ritual revolves around cultivating tranquility and connection, offering a respite from the demands of our busy lives.
As the day unfolds, the evident relief sets in – a break from early alarms, hurried mornings, and the constant race against time.
Sunday is a holiday for offices so after a long wait of six days i finally feel relief because there is no early wakeup alarms for preparing lunch on time etc.
No hurried mornings of weekdays; so relaxation.
To initiate the morning on a delightful note, I immerse myself in preparing my husband’s favorite dishes for a special Sunday brunch, setting the stage for a leisurely and comforting day ahead.
Self-care takes center stage, not only for myself but also in a shared skin-care routine with my husband. This intentional self-care becomes a cherished bonding moment, a shared commitment to well-being amidst the tranquility of the day.
We seize the unhurried hours to strategize for the upcoming week, crafting a to-do list that becomes a roadmap for our aspirations. The shared endeavor to accomplish these goals by Sunday evening fosters a sense of achievement and clarity for the week ahead.
Our Sundays are adorned with one or two ‘outside activities,’ whether it’s a visit to the mall, enjoying a stand-up comedy show, embarking on a shopping, catching a movie, or reconnecting with family and friends. These moments of shared enjoyment enhance the sense of connection and joy.
While Sundays typically embody relaxation, they also occasionally transform into bustling days as we address pending tasks and clear accumulated work.
In essence, Sunday becomes more than just a day off – it transforms into an intentional blend of relaxation, connection, and rejuvenation. It’s a cherished ritual that enriches our lives with joy, purpose, and a shared sense of accomplishment .
Sunday is, indeed, an excellent holiday.

“Romantic Sunday”
Sunday is a break from the boring routine,
Give stress some quarantine.
A day which I dedicate to only me,
Do only things which I love ,
And healthy for me.
Starts the day with pampering me,
Like my mom does when I was kid,
Scrubbing my body as she did,
Hare care and skin care,
Which on week days I don’t care.
Cooking the food I like ,
Watching the shows which matches my vibes,
Playing games of my type.
Solitude and some holy music with,
Barbies and cartoons,
Are not only for KG kids,
And that’s how ends my Sunday’s celebrations with.

Sunday oh Sunday
You were always a fun day.
No rush to wake up
No hurry to reach school
Relax , stretch and snuggle
Again go back to sleep.
These were my Sundays royal
I used to spend like a queen
When no one would interfere , criticise or
Try to come in between.
Now my Sundays are a bit changed
They are leisurely and relaxing
You bet!
My favourite ritual
Is still snuggling back to sleep
But only after my compulsory morning walk
Which , on Sundays seems like a mandatory threat.
I love to sleep
Specially in winters
Inside a cosy cocoon
After which , my day takes a quick start
My spirit and soul
sated and swollen
Like a macaroon.
