Expectations/अपेक्षाएं

उम्मीदें दिल की एकतरफ़ा

एकतरफ़ा उम्मीदें, दिल की कहानी,
उम्मीदों से भरी ज़िंदगी में गहरा है पानी।
मैं चाहता हूँ तुम समझो मेरी बात,
लेकिन तुम नहीं सुनती, बस जाती हो ख़ात।

मैं देता हूँ सब कुछ, तुम लेती हो सारा,
मेरी उम्मीदों का, तुम करती हो इशारा।
मैं चाहता हूँ प्यार, तुम देती हो दर्द,
एकतरफ़ा उम्मीदें, मेरा दिल है ग़मगीन और दर्द।

मैं सोचता हूँ तुमसे, तुम सोचती हो और,
मेरी उम्मीदें हैं, तुम्हारे लिए अधूरा।
मैं चाहता हूँ साथ, तुम देती हो अंदाज़ा,
एकतरफ़ा उम्मीदें, मेरा दिल है बेचारा।

मैं देता हूँ सब कुछ, तुम लेती हो सारा,
मेरी उम्मीदों का, तुम करती हो इशारा।
एकतरफ़ा उम्मीदें, दिल की कहानी,
दिल की समुद्र में गहरा है पानी।

मैं चाहता हूँ तुम सुनो, मेरी दिल की आवाज़,
लेकिन तुम नहीं सुनती, बस जाती हो ख़ामोश।
मैं चाहता हूँ तुम समझो, मेरी दिल की बात,
लेकिन तुम नहीं समझती, बस जाती हो मात।

मैं चाहता हूँ प्यार, तुम देती हो दर्द और दुख।
मैं चाहता हूँ साथ, तुम देती हो अंदाज़ा,
एकतरफ़ा उम्मीदें, मेरा दिल है बेचारा।

मैं देता हूँ सब कुछ, तुम लेती हो सारा,
मेरी उम्मीदों का, तुम करती हो इशारा।
एकतरफ़ा उम्मीदें, दिल की कहानी,
हर नौका के सफर में गहरा है पानी।

Expectations

Expectations always lead to disappointment.
They may seem like a casual feeling,
But deep inside, they speak of many unspoken desires.

Expectations quietly enter every relationship —
Whether it is friendship or love.
But is it really worth expecting?
Never.
Because the moment We expect something in return,
It is no longer pure love,
Nor is it true friendship.

I am often surprised when people expect something
Even after helping the needy
or donating to the poor.
You may wonder, what do people even expect from them?
They say, Blessings .
And many will think, What is wrong with that?
Nothing —
Except that even this carries a hidden selfish motive.
When you give and still hope for something in return,
Even if it is a blessing,
It is still an expectation.

We should expect nothing from anyone.
Not even from our own family.
We are here only to do the right things,
In the right way,
On the right path.
So just keep doing good.
Without counting.
Without waiting.
Because our karma is already being recorded
In the hands of the universe,
And in its own time,
It will return to us —
Not just better,
But the best. ✨

भूखे के लिए रोटी
मायके के आंगन को बेटी
हारे हुए को जीत
विरह में तपे प्रीत को मनमीत की

बिछड़े लोगों के मिलने की
माली को बगिया खिलने की
किसान को बरसात की
जुगनू को आनेवाले रात की
बूढ़ी आंखोंमें बच्चों एक झलक की
ख्वाबों को बंद पलक की
सांसों जिंदगी की
भक्तों से बंदगी की
आंसुओं से भरे मन को एक कंधे की
ठेले वाले की अच्छे धंधे की
गरीबों को भीख की
ज्ञानी से सिख की

सबको किसी किसी की
उम्मीद होती है
और इसी उम्मीद पे तो दुनिया चलती है।
उम्मीद सही जगह सही इंसान और सही वक्त करे तो कभी दिल टूटने की आह नहीं मिलती है..
हां इस उम्मीद पे तो दुनिया टिकी है…
