सपना

मैने सपनों का एक जहां देखा
पंछियों से भरा ये आसमां देखा
खुली फ़िज़ा में
स्वच्छंद जीवो का कारवां देखा
झर-झर झरते निर्मल झरने
कल कल करती नदियों का
ख़ूबसूरत एक शमा देखा
मैने सपनों का एक जहां देखा…
हरियाली के चादर ओढ़े धरती देखी
कई रंग के गुलों से सजा गुलिस्ताँ देखा
तितलियो भौरों की अठखेलियाँ देखी
झीलों में इन्द्रधनुष का उतरता निशां देखा
दूर कहीं उस क्षितिज पर
धरती आसमां का प्रेममयी मिलन
और सुनहरी शाम का ख़ुशी में थिरकना देखा
मैने सपनों का एक जहां देखा…
जुगनूवों से रोशन पेड़ों में कलाकृति
झिंगुरों को मधुर संगीत में लय मिलाते देखा
आधे उस चाँद को खुल कर मुस्कुराते
और तारों को बेफिक्री में झिलमिलाते देखा
यूं अब खो गया है, हाँ ये सब
ये प्रकृति ये फ़िज़ा रूठी-रूठी सी कहीं
अब कहाँ हकीकत में, ये नजारा मैंने ना यहां देखा
मैंने सपने में, सपनों का एक जहां देखा…

Between Dreams and Dawn
In the solace of night time,
As I hear the faint wind chime.
Whispers of my dreams, echo loud,
The dream of making everyone proud.
The wish to live my dream life,
And bravely face this strife.
In my dream’s embrace,
The night passes at a fast pace.
Then the first ray of the dawn touches me,
Breaking my gleeful trance, I see.
From the world of my dreams,
I wake up to the real themes.
Where I am away from the people I adore,
And my heart, it aches to the core.
I am caught up in serious distress,
Hurricane of emotions that I have to supress.
But in the moments of such confusion,
My dreams are the only solution.
They keep me going,
They keep me trying.
They give me hopes to get better,
They give my life a subtle luster.
Reality is a canvas,
Where I can paint future grandness.
It is where I can put in hard work,
And that can change my world.
Reality gives me the opportunity,
To work towards my dreams, so lovely.
Hence I love both of them,
Both are precious as a gem.
The reality makes me aware,
While dreams let me dare!

It flows in my mind as springs
If these go astray it makes me terrify
I’m scared if my dreams do not get stings

Have faith in dreams and let the universe justify
