For a child
His first day at school
He is anxious and elated;
With excitement;
An adolescent scoring
Full marks in exam
Screams hysterical
in joy
That’s excitement;
A teenager accepts
Her first crush’s proposal;
There’s wilderness on
her face
In excitement;
A wife waiting for her husband returning from army
Has passion in her eyes;
She’s excited for his return;
A husband waiting outside the labour room
looks at the nurse in hope;
That’s mixed emotion;
A mother anxiously waits for her child to come from school;
In anticipation
She has warmth
In her eyes;
The dying old father
Unable to open eyes
Listens to his sons voice
He’s excited
That his son is near;
Passion
Anticipation
Elation
Wilderness
Hysterical
Mixed emotion
All are variants
Of excitement.

EXCITEMENT
Excitement is a feeling
Which rushes in adrenaline through our body
It reddens our cheeks , increases our heart beat and makes our stomach knotty.
Excitement can happen for numerous reasons….. they may be good or bad
But physical reactions are mostly the same
Whether it be
an old man or a lad.
A thug is excited
When he hits a jackpot
A singer is excited to perform
A bride and groom are super excited
Coz their lives are about to transform.
A cricketer is hyper excited on the pitch
He is extremely anxious too
Same is the case
With a mother to be
In severe pain , yet longing to hear her baby coo .
There are several other instances of excitement
I could simply go on and on
But here I would like to take your leave

चंचल सी ये हवा बातें ऐसी कर जाती है
खुशी से हो व्याकुल मन कुछ छवि गढ़ जाती है
मिलन की उत्सुकता चेहरे पर निखार आती है
लगती है वो खुद बिंदी और खुद ही शर्माती है
हाथों पर मेहंदी पांवों में पायल
कंगन वो खनकाती है
चांद से ज्यादा वो साजन की तारीफे चाहती है
रसोई में पक रहे पकवान है
बच्चों से मंगवाना सामान है
हर रंग में वो पति संग रंग जाती हैं
दरवाजे पर बैठी वो साजन के इंतजार में खुद ही इतराती है
थाल में सिंदूर कुमकुम दिया वो ऐसे सजाती है
मानो वो दुल्हन एक बार साजन से पहली नजर मिलाती है
उत्सुकता व्याकुलता लिए वो चांद का इंतजार करती है
वो भारतीय स्त्री है जो पति की उम्र के लिए भगवान से विनती करती है

I believed a lie.
and I hold it so tight!
They showed me the sky,
painted in black and white.
Burn like that sun; only then will you survive.
But when I was a kid, I could only see the light.
Then they ask me to learn from the moon’s dark side.
How do I hide like that when stars chase me at night?
Everything that excited the naive child’s paradise.
Turned to fear and anxiety by everyone with experience and right.
Now this child lives inside me, scared and ready to cry.
And you ask, What stops me from living an exciting and adventurous life?
