Moon light

Staring at the Moon…

Some things never change
It’s not a thing of the past
It will never become so
For the ages to last…

My father used to stare at the Moon with big blank eyes
I too do so
The gleam of the Moon
I too feel soothes my soul
Staring at the Moon with binoculars or blank eyes
Has been giving joy to countless souls worldwide
This shows that though a lot of things
Have changed over generations
Over the years, some things never change
Such as the Moon
Technology might have invaded everywhere
But still in the night skies
It is the same Moon that shines
That has been shining since ages bygone…
Whether man sees it through a pair of binoculars or stares at it with big blank eyes
Although man has landed on the Moon
But it couldn’t change its structure…
Questionable gaze might have changed
Over the years
As many have made it to the Moon
In the past fifty years…
Now we do know as humans what’s there to expect if you do believe in the school of expecting or expectations…
However, man couldn’t realise his full potential or that of the Moon
But one day would surely come
When we are exhausted of all forms of changes…
And we wish to view the constants in our journey, as part of our lives even more than we do now…
We all do certainly realise by the end of our lives, that it was only I who was the only constant in my own life…

Beaver Moonlight

The waves gallanted mercilessly at the shore
On a starlit night set at the crescent of a Beaver Moon,
The silence at the end of the walk foreclosed
An Iris smile on a meek emotion to deplore.
I gave you the calmest trinket out from my heart
The prettiest of all , a pantomine set for laughter,
The heart that whomped and stumbled yet again,
Till death could do us apart.
Alas! a wry smile caught your eyes at a stroke
Once again to a sapient skilled bonnie,
The rustic love that had breathed its last
Neighed at the trumpet of a Blitzkrieg that broke.
That night we took a walk on the white sand
Interlaced on the silken weave of the prelude ,
At the silent shores of the heart that had sunk
Into a gateway of a tribulation for us to stand.
A glance at the eye that intrigued a careless whisper
At a swash that oscillated a fervour within,
I looked at you cajoled into your thoughts
Bound with a flame rekindled at a lisper.
The trinklet broke at that meandering walk
And a look that stood so naked in profundity,
Of what was meant to be unshakable
Dripped bane at the her voice once again a talk.

चाँद की रोशनी
===========
कुछ पल छत पर,
संग मेरे आना तो प्रिये
इस विशाल आसमां तले
हृदय में अथाह प्रेम लिए..

फ़िज़ा मे बहती
हल्की सी सर्द हवा को आज महसूस करें
उन सारे एहसासो को
अपने ज़ेहन में फिर महफ़ूज़ करें..

नीलम आसमां में कमल जैसे
चमकते उस चांद का दीदार करें
मन में जो दफ़न हैं जज़्बात सारे,
वो ही बातें दो, चार करें..

उस सांझ,
ये हवा छूकर तुझे तब आयेगी
लाएगी जो खुशबू तेरी,
वो मेरी रूह तक को भी महकायेगी

फिर उस “चांद की रोशनी” को
छूकर तुम इक वादा करना
यूँ ही हर जन्म
हमसे मिलने का इरादा करना..
