Busy life
Wait Wait Wait
Where’s my bag? Where are my keys?
Why’s my sock stuck to my knee?
Coffee spills, I’m a mess,
I don’t give a damn about stress.
Running fast but fate’s not kind,
Why my backpack is left behind?
I juggle my time, they think I don’t care,
Prioritizing task, with no room for despair.
Friends, family, dreams, college n’ my job,
Spinning plates till they all drop,
My life’s a circus, With multiple shows,
I’m an actor, & nobody knows,
Calls, Emails, Projects & Endless screens,
Who has the time to be lost in dreams?
My dreams and their struggle, a pushing force,
Driving me through life’s chaotic course,
Its gonna be summer soon, time’s gotta feel tight,
I’m gonna keep running, till i reach that light.

Life is a part of a roller coaster.
Life’s a whirlwind, spinning fast,
A roller coaster ride that’s meant to last.
A never-ending race, we’re forced to run,
Chasing dreams, but often having no fun.
We’re lost in the chaos, consumed by the grind,
Our minds a jumble, our souls left behind.
We’re so busy surviving, we forget to live,
Neglecting our hearts, our well-being to give.
We’re like hamsters on wheels, spinning round,
Getting nowhere fast, our lives unbound.
We’re yearning for calm, for a peaceful nest,
But the world outside screams, “You can’t rest!”
So let’s take a breath, let’s slow down our pace,
Let’s find some stillness in this chaotic space.
Let’s remember to care for our weary soul,
Let’s make time for love, for life’s simple goal.

Busy Life
In the fast paced world, our lives got busy
No time to think, no time to worry
We get up early and sleep late at night
This is the pattern we follow because that’s our plight
No time for friends, no time for family
Homo Sapiens are literally Olly Polly
Life got so busy we don’t meet face to face
However, available on FaceTime or even to chat
Life is so busy, we all are running the race
Such a roller coaster as it’s fast pace
We need to slow down, take a deep breathe
Need to relax and take a big break
Stop for a second and ponder for a while
Are our lives worthwhile?
Take out time for yourself and things that matter most
No one knows the expiry of life
So Stop, and take a big toast

HE WAS BUSY
He was so busy, lost in his chase,
No time for family, no moment to embrace.
Neither he played with his little son,
Nor helped his daughter learn to run.
His wife shopped alone, no hand to hold,
While he sorted tasks, both new and old.
His parents suffered, left in despair,
No doctor’s visit, no time to spare.
His friends would gather, laughter would ring,
But he was absent from everything.
So caught in work, so lost in strife,
He had no time for love or life.
Pills on the shelf, untouched, untaken,
Warnings ignored, his health forsaken.
The sun would rise, the rain would fall,
Yet he never noticed them at all.
Wordsworth still wrote of daffodils bright,
Shelley praised the West Wind’s might.
Keats found beauty, simple yet grand,
But he let life slip through his hand.
Not just himself, but all he betrayed—
His parents, who aged, his children who played.
The wife who left her world behind,
For a love that he kept confined.
And when the final day drew near,
He left this world with silent tears.
A heart full of regret, yet no words to say,
For he was too busy—until his last.

The tireless multi-tasker
As a new mother and a working woman,
I dream of so many things super human.
My lap is not only meant for laptop,
Mind you, my baby does here stop.
Washing machine, cooker and car,
Which are tools that take me afar.
A brick house which I convert to home,
An imaginary world where I only roam.
From a carefree girl to a girl using ” carefree”,
As a girl, I have gone up several rungs on my life’s tree.
My office bag, stylish mobile and wall clock,
Keep reminding me of the fear of losing my job, which does lurk.
The mixer, the iron box and the costly silk saree,
That reminds me that I am just one thankless lady on home duty.
Not everything is gloomy,
My baby keeps me busy and happy.
I love feeding it Cerelac,
I take off like a plane from a tarmac.
My husband is understanding and supportive too,
May be that is why I find peace in the loo.
Wads of money, is that all life is about?
When will I see peace and happiness bout?
