This Is Me….
A DEMURE lady in saree
Has no qualms to ride on her “Activa”
And fly MERRILY.
Be they DARK days or nights STARRY.
I am a HAPPILY retired person
Yet my days merge and melt in active labour.
I am TRANSPARENT with nothing to hide
And extremely EMOTIONAL which puts me in a tight corner leaving me TEARY eyed.
This is me
Often UNCERTAIN
Doing things in a hurry burry
But with all my IMPERFECTIONS
I’m PROUD to be me.
Those who only count my faults
Its their problem
Not mine
They are simply twisted , warped and oh boy! they do

शूल सी चुभती कभी
कभी मखमली सी कोमल मैं
खिलखिलाती जीती कभी
कभी दुख का सैलाब समेटू मैं।
खनक शब्दों में बिखेरू कभी
कभी ख़ामोश सी कहानी मैं।
महफिलों का गीत कभी
कभी धीमी सी लोरी मैं।
गुनगुनाई जाती मैं कभी
कभी ठुकराई जाती मैं।
एक पल को भी न गंवाती कभी
कभी एक पल में ही जी जाती मैं।
