प्रेम नहीं है
खरीद- फरोख्त की वस्तु।
यह है पवित्र भावना,
यह मन की आराधना ।
जैसे पावन मंदिर में बसी हो
अपने इष्ट का विग्रह- श्री।
प्रेम लाता है जीवन में
सरसता।
प्रेमपूर्ण व्यक्ति हो जाता है
बहुत लचीला।
वह डूबा रहता है
अपने ही प्यार में ।
वह दे नहीं सकता
धोखा किसी को फिर जहां में।

बेकरार में युं कुछ रहने लगी,,
आसमान से बातें करने लगी,
भूल गई पैरों की ज़मीन,,
भंवरो सी मैं गुनगुनाने लगी,,
तुमसे हुआ जो प्यार,,
न जाने कैसा चढ़ा था खुमार,
देखु जो आईने में खुद को,,
तुम्हारा ही अक्स मैं देखने लगी,
अच्छा हुआ जो तुमने,,
अपने दिल का हाल बता दिया,,
एक तरफा प्यार से रूबरू करा दिया,,
पर सच्चा प्रेम ,,प्रेम होता है,,
ये कोई सौदेबाजी नहीं,,
गर हुआ है मुझको ,,
तो तुम्हें भी हो,,
ऐसी कोई रस्में रिवाजें नहीं,,
प्यार का हक़ जताना,,
बेशक गलत है,,
दिल ही दिल में चाहते रहना,,
ख़ुदा की इबादत से भी कम नहीं,,।।

I had the strength to hold you,
But was at the end to loose you
I had the time to stay with you,
But was away from you
I was your cure,
But you were not pure.
You said you are the gleam of my dream
But you never dreamt.
You said you were the spark of my dark,
But you never went to dark
You wrote a note to devote, But never rewrote.
You said you are my shine. But you decline.
You said I was your the light of your pride,
But you again denied
You said you will stay
But you went away.
I said you are my dream,
But then I scream when I dream.
Then you became wise and apologize for your lies,
For all things when there was nothing.
But then time came….
You went to bottom,
And was…
