Missing Someone in Your Life
Someone you miss in your life
Once our exams were over, with our newfound freedom, my sister and I would get on the train with our suitcases and lots of snacks to binge on. We’d listen to songs and watch movies while waiting to get there.
After getting there, our lives were bliss. We’d go out and try everything from go karting to simply walking around the mall. We’d spend all our time with some of our favourite people and share tales of back home.
Though we wouldn’t stay for a long time, we’d bring back memories of a lifetime. And we were okay with that, cause we still had next year.
Until we didn’t.
Now, though we go back, there is the unmistakable weight in our hearts, a longing for that cheerful face and sweet voice that used to scold us lovingly.
Now, we go and do everything we used to earlier, but half-heartedly.
I don’t just miss you, I miss the person I was around you.

याद अब आते नही वो लम्हें वो बातें उन बातो में छिपा अपनापन
गर याद हैं तो सिर्फ वो अंत जो अंदर तक मुझे तोड़ गया..
मेरे अंदर अकेलापन छोड़ गया..
हसती, हसती, हसती आखों में रंजिश ही रंजिश पिरो गया..
और लब अब मुसकराते नहीं पहले के जैसे
मेरे लबों पे कर्ज कयी
गालो पर गम के निशान
हृदय पे जख्म कयी
आत्मा पर बोझ हजार
याद अब आते नही वो लम्हें..
